Skills Development
Link people with disabilities to vocational training and support marketable skills so they can earn a living and live more independently.
Your contribution helps remove barriers and build a more inclusive future for people living with disabilities in Kismayo and Jubaland.
People with disabilities in Jubaland face limited access to skills training, lack of mobility equipment, social exclusion and deep-rooted stigma. SDDO works practically and people-centred to change this.
As a disability-led, community-based organization in its foundation stage, every contribution β large or small β directly strengthens our ability to deliver skills development, mobility support, social inclusion and advocacy.
We are committed to transparency and accountability. Resources are managed according to our Financial Policy and overseen by a Board with majority representation of persons with disabilities.
To secure sustainable support so that people living with disabilities in Kismayo can access skills, mobility aids, social belonging and a stronger voice in their community.
Aligned with our four strategic pillars.
Link people with disabilities to vocational training and support marketable skills so they can earn a living and live more independently.
Provide wheelchairs, crutches, walking aids and other assistive devices, plus follow-up so devices are used effectively.
